How a Google SEO Change Could affect Your Content in Search Results

Do you have an author blog or website where you provide recent posts and news items? Then you should always stay up to date with any changes Google makes to its SEO policies. Google has just announced a significant change to how news-related content is added and maintained on its Google News aggregation and search service.

Google has introduced a website called the Google News Publisher Center, where the specific details of your website can be managed and maintained.

What Can You Do?
First, head over to Google Webmaster Tools and verify ownership of your website. You can now submit your website for inclusion in Google News. You can also update specific details such as; your website’s name;, labelling the site as ‘blog’, ‘satire’ or ‘opinion’; and website structure updates.

Google will be introducing this globally and eventually add more features to the service.
